The simulation takes dynamic EPEX prices into account, where energy rates change throughout the day based on supply and demand in the European energy market.

Enter a few parameters about your depot, such as fleet size, charging power and when vehicles are available. The calculator compares charging costs with and without intelligent charging, based on dynamic energy prices.

This provides insight into how intelligent charging can shift charging sessions to more favourable energy moments, while ensuring vehicles are ready by departure.

Simulation based on simplified EPEX day profiles and standard assumptions: 250 working days per year, 80% state of charge (SOC), 95% charging efficiency and a 400V onboard electrical system. Distribution costs, capacity charges and grid operator fees are not included. Actual savings may vary depending on your energy contract, local grid costs and site configuration.

Laden op het juiste moment

Voertuigen worden niet automatisch geladen zodra ze ingeplugd zijn, maar pas op het meest geschikte moment. Laadprofielen worden afgestemd op vertrektijden en beschikbare tijd. Het vermogen wordt aangepast waar mogelijk, zodat pieken vermeden worden en netcapaciteit optimaal benut blijft.

Inzicht en controle via het dashboard

Via het Smappee Dashboard krijg je volledig inzicht in laadgedrag en energieverbruik. Je stelt eenvoudig laadschema’s in per connector en stemt laden af op je operationele planning en energiebeleid.

Laden afgestemd op energieprijzen 

Je bepaalt wanneer voertuigen klaar moeten zijn. Smappee kiest automatisch de meest geschikte laadmomenten. Wanneer flexibiliteit het toelaat, wordt laden afgestemd op energieprijzen, zoals day-ahead tarieven en dag- en nachttarieven. Zo vermijd je piekprijzen zonder impact op je dagelijkse werking.

Batterijbewust laden

Laden gebeurt met het juiste vermogen op het juiste moment: hoog wanneer nodig, gematigder wanneer mogelijk. Zo beperk je batterijslijtage, behoud je de waarde van je voertuigen en optimaliseer je je vloot op lange termijn.
